Moscow says North Korea Interested in Talks with Washington

Verbal threats between North Korea and the U.S. has increased in recent weeks but a top Russian diplomat says Pyongyang is "extremely interested" in talks with the U.S. Moscow's state-run news agency, RIA Novosti quoted Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov today and added that the U.S. may not be interested in direct talks at this point.

Joseph Yun from the U.S. State Department's special envoy on North Korea is now in Moscow to discuss options with senior Russian officials.
