Passion the Hidden Blog Success Tip For Affiliate Blogs
Some people have successful blogs, others have mediocre blogs that seem to rank on various posts but never attract a real following. Many however fail at blogging achieving neither rank or following. Here is a hidden success tip for your affiliate blogs.
The number one success tip hidden from new bloggers is Passion.
The guru usually tells you to select top earning topics and niche that you can pull and siphon dollars here and there through traffic and rankings in search. They also tell you a few tricks to accomplish driving first-time visitors and some of the better ones will teach you about lead capture and follow up, but most teach about getting new traffic over the actual art of getting people to subscribe and engage in your blog.
This is because they run their blogs like a retail store where you are a shopper and they are presenting the product of the week and not as a passion. See you can spit out a ton of product-centric blogs and move on as traffic dies but you can't replace the success big bloggers know and that is while product blogging can sell, passion blogging sells over and over.
Passion, the hidden success tip for blogs is about loyal followings.
When you choose a niche you are passionate about and can write to over and over you will soon find that people will begin commenting, and following your blog. A product-centric blog will have fewer comments because the content is more robotic and pitchy than it is passionate and fulfilling.
You can tell a major difference for example in the styles of the average affiliate marketing blogs and that of Shoemoney, Darren Rowse, and ProBlogger. Jon Olson's blog, for example, shows passion for this industry and gets hundreds of regular comments from at least as many subscribers. His network grows on repeat traffic and social shares as much as it does off new visitors.
Passion is the difference in how often you write and if you show genuine interest and a love for what you do. I love my blog-based affiliate marketing business. I have written about little else in over 16 years of online marketing and every post shows my love and expertise. I can write other content and do for other people but in no manner does a package article show as much personality as a topic I am well versed in. What's more, it is because it is a hobby like passion or chosen career it comes easy.
If you love baseball to write about that. I have a new blog coming out soon on CryptoCurrency and Early Retirement and one on Arizona Diamondbacks Baseball. I have domains for each in retireearly.pro and grandslamcity.com just waiting for content. I am also starting a business for my love of marketing with search engines and more directly Local SEO at https://dotlocalseo.com but my biggest content project is my Affiliate 3 Percent blog at https://www.affiliate3percent.com where I write about online marketing and affiliate success for the top 3 percent marketer.
I have a strong following as shown by not just engagement but in the number of repeat visitor comments and I help people take their business to the next-level with tactics that have helped me put thousands of members into dozens of programs since 2003. I pray that each of you find your passion.
