The Power of Blogging

Blogging is a hobby that takes very little initial investment and can be lucrative. It’s nice to find communities of like-minded people and put stuff out on the internet for others to read. It's fun to relax unwind and just put some words down on paper or in this case down on a screen.

Blogging is fun, illuminating and therapeutic. As a blogger, you have the ability to let the world know what’s on your mind. You can positively impact someone in many ways and hopefully share complex ideas.

Blogging has been around since the dawn of the internet, but became popular in the early 2000s. I remember blogging and microblogging on multiple platforms back then as a kid and enjoying the fact that others could read what I was thinking about. it's pretty cool that you can wake up have a train of thought published on the internet and others will read your train of thought how cool is that when you think about it. that's the reality being a blogger pick your interest put it out there other people will read it and make comments.

I have blogged about science, cryptocurrency, movies, sports and many other topics. This is a great place to simultaneously blog, invest, build community and learn all in one. I participate in other blogging platforms and enjoy them as well. It's fun to just talk about your interest and it's fun to try to make a point and even bring up an argument that you can have civilly. Civility is key I make sure not to run my mouth and I make sure to stay on point and focus it's easy to lose your train of thought.

I blog primarily for the entertainment. It's just a lot of fun to be on these platforms share my thoughts and build community. My journey has been less than a year but already it's totally been worth the investment. I made sure to invest in the platforms I was going to be working on I put time effort and even money into them to be successful and also to build something I was proud of. I wanted to make sure I wasn't annoying and that my platform usage wasn't going to be a burden to others I just wanted to have fun talk about ideas make comments and and just enjoy life. I feel like I'm succeeding in those regards and I'm hoping that I'm having a positive impact overall.

The difference between blocking on these platforms and blocking on a regular platform is the profit motive. it has been awesome seeing my coins stack but to be honest with you that's an afterthought. the profit motive is sometimes on my mind I'll admit but I try to push that away I'm here to have fun this isn't my job. it's cool to see comments and it's cool to see summer awards come in and trickle in a few cents here and there makes a bit of a difference. I never know who's going to read my posts or what they're going to think and it's cool to see comments and see posts and votes on those posts as well.

I found that it is more proactive if you focus just on the quality of your work as opposed to the payout you may get. I have to remember that no payout is guaranteed some of my posts have received no reward and I put time into them. It's a lot more rewarding to be honest just trying to build community and putting your thoughts out there. The fact that this is a censorship resistant platform makes it even more fun.

It has been a couple wild years. blogging has been a great way to actually share my feelings while in lockdown. It's possible to reach out to people make friends and connections just by writing your words on the internet which is incredible.

The ability to talk to people thousands of miles away instantly is something that has not been the norm in human history. Imagine having to write a letter seal it and mail it out. Imagine having it travel on a ship or horses or on a railway and that's the way that you communicate with the world. I'm so grateful for these platforms and it seems like this is really the wave of the future.

In summary I'm really glad to be blogging and to be a blogger no matter how small my audience I know that I'm making an impact on someone's life
