Northgard: RTS I have been waiting for
In Northgard you take the lead of a Viking clan and try to conquer the world. The game is developed by Shiro Games. The goal of the game is simple conquer and survive.
You start the game in a small area of the map. Next to the see and with a couple of peasants. You can build some structures at the start. But all the areas are limited by the amount of buildings you can place. This is a nice mechanic as it makes you think about placing none essential buildings.
The first goal is surviving winter. Winter is a big thing in this game as it uses up your wood stockpile and the food stockpile at a big ass rate. And if your down at 0 your clan will not grow at all and your clan members get angry.
The second goal is what you decide to do. Build up fame? Kill of everything? Expand like a madman? … The choice is yours.
I have been playing RTS games for a long time, ranging from age of empires, stronghold, total war, civilization, … And this is a great addition. It has some cool and difficult additions to the genre that I didn’t see in a long time. Originality is a big plus for this game!

yep kinguin ftw. It was about 4-5€ cheaper than on steam.

Mmm very interesting, i have played alot of rts games in the past. This looks like one i wanne play in the future. Steam here i come.

Hey i have seen you playing this game alot latly. Looked over your sholder and it was looking pretty fun. I secretly tried it when you where at work. I killed of my people in the first winter :D
