[HelpTheNewcomers] Why Some Of the Newbies Stop Using SteemIt? (giveaway)
Hello guys, the purpose of this post is to help the newbie or minnow and also too started a discussion on how to make the new steemit user keep posting a good content. Why did we have to help, this is because I believe with increasing the steemit user, the steem/SBD price could increase too. Before that I want to make it clear that I'm not called myself as a whale, I also a small fish on this platform. Back to the topic, why some of the newbies stop using steemit?
- Lack of visibility on their article.
I believe that a lot of new steemit user has or can create a good content and their article was not getting enough exposure. Also, they only get a small amount of sbd/steem as their reward. This will make them want to give up, imagine that they drafting their article for a couple days and only get a cent of sbd/steem as a reward. This doesn't make sense. They should get more than that. Without using the bidbot, they can't get a high amount of sbd/steem.
So, as a solution to this problem. We all should resteem and upvote the quality post made by the newbie.
- Didn't know how to start.
Lack of knowledge about steemit is not a problem as long as you willing to learn. Some of the newbies did not found their niche. So they just post anything and then they did not have any idea about what to post next. Newbies should read and learn more about steemit, also we need to write something that we are passionate enough
- Only early adopter can make a lot of money from steemit.
One of my friends, which also a newbie, said that and as a newcomer, we can't make money because they control the steemit ecosystem. I'm not gonna talked a lot about this because I think this is how thing work and I call it investment. It is true the early adopter make a good amount of their income on steemit. But they deserve that because they make an early investment on steemit.
Thinking that you are too late to start writing on steemit is totally wrong. I believe steemit will become a mainstream in the future.
In conclusion, as a newbie or newcomer, we have to support each other. It might be hard for someone who doesn't have any experience in blogging and writing, but don't give up, keep on trying.
I would like to give some of my SBD to someone who leaves a comment about anything related to this post.
Current prize is 0.5 SBD, I will add the prize if my post got a lot of upvote and reward. You have to resteem my post to get more viewer/reader.

Disclaimer: I am not an expert. I wrote based on my understanding and my experience. Maybe some of it is not accurate from the fact. If I make something wrong, feel free to drop a comment.
I find it hard to get visibility and find my community on Steemit because of the interface. I was lucky to come across SteemSTEM early on to fill my science/geek side, but for other topics that I would love to create a community around, such as the plant world, the current tags interface is difficult to navigate. I wouldn't know how to go about taking a tag like "nature", which is incredibly broad and contains many things that for me do not fit in, and create something more specific. I would really love if there was a weighted system created based on the combination of tags used.
Beyond that, I think it is important to give, which means writing more comments and upvoting. I think if you comment on an article, then the system should automatically add the upvote, since they are connected.
Thanks for helping give visibility to those of us that have a harder time navigating the waters!
Sorry, I'm late. I think you should go on with the SteemSTEM tag because it is a really good community and also supportive. The nature tag is so broad just like you said, better stick to the steemstem tag.
Actually, I also have a visibility problem like other newbies. So, I want to help other and vice versa.
Thanks for reading my post. I will send the reward now.
I sometimes wish I was good at rounding up the troupes and encouraging different community groups within the #nature tag. It would be nice to separate out nature photography, spiritual nature, plant science, animal science, etc. etc. If I had a parter who could help me with the parts of Steemit I still don't understand well (curating, delegation...).
There must be someone in the steemstem community willing to be your partner. Try asking on their discord channel. Or try to make a post about this.
I hadn't thought about making a post about it. I will try that, thank you so much for the suggestion!
