B&W in the neighbourhood

"Take me to the park!"

She ordered.

Anyway, I had to take the trash out. And "the park" (if you can call it that) is 200 meters away. It's her guilty joy. Though I offer myself to drive her a few kilometres out of town, to the real park, she usually wants to stay here. It's the proximity I guess.

Right across our building, behind the other communist, 4 stories high building, it's the common dumpster we all use. On the corner, it should have been a "corner building" according to the communist systematisation and planned architecture. But they never got to build that one and now the ground is just left to grow weed on it and serve as a great parking lot for working cars or, on the opposite, total wrecks.

It's a mess I tell you. After more than a quarter of a century since we "liberated" we still get these dirty neighbourhoods where the damn authorities can't even cope to administer and the regular man is to "barn-raised" to do something about it. It's not like we are that nice type of society that, when authorities do not respond to their needs", pick up the shovel, the broom and the wheelbarrows and start making a change themselves.

Such was the case of this park that she compels me to take her to. It should have been a corner building. They even started the diggings back then, I hear, and laid down the iron for the foundations. 1990 came and there was this hole in the ground here, full of water/snow and sharp metal objects. Then they filled the hole with soil and turned it into a very small, very poor and very badly administered neighbourhood park where kids are supposed to be safe and parents are supposed to be nice.

None happen.
