don't give your daughter to a beggar. Say no to Dowry.'

I see a post doing rounds especially among the so called feminists.
'Dear Parents, don't give your daughter to a beggar. Say no to Dowry.'
That's actually right and by Indian Law taking Dowry is illegal and punishable act. Any guy who has some dignity will not ask for dowry.
Now, let's see the other side.
I have seen Chetan Bhagat writing two articles about this topic. First one said that how his Wife supported him financially and took the responsibility of his house for two years so that he can become a writer. Second one said that how every boy should help in household chores equally.
Of course, only the second one was widely shared while the first one soon disappeared.
So my question is where is this so called equality?
Why responsibility sharing is limited to household chores?
Why a guy always has to earn more than a girl?
Why can't a guy take a break from his job? Why boy's dreams are limited to earning money?
Why only a boy has to pay EMIs?
Why only boy's salary is been asked?
Why a boy has to pay an ailmony even when the girl is at fault?
'Dear Parents, Don't give your son to a gold digger. Your son was not born to pay EMIs and Bills for a loser.'

Met an old independent woman friend yesterday after a long time.
She said that she read my above post about gender equality and asked me then why should only a girl leave home, ask guys to leave too.
I completely agreed to her and told her to ask her brother who recently got married to leave first and set an example for everyone.

She is now not my friend anymore :/
