RE: The downs of location portrait photography shoots
It probably does depend on the photographers reputation because I work with my friend who is pretty big and expensive so it’s more an honour to be chosen by her

I want to remain affordable for families that can not afford the expensive photographers. I am fine averaging $10-$15 an hour for my time for the shoot and editing. I know many would say I am stupid but I didn't have many professional shots of my kids when they were growing up because I couldn't afford it. Then finally when I could they were nearly grown and I got into photography. I want to help low income families afford photos of their kids and family photos. I know many who don't have any professional shots of their kids or families because they can't afford them. Even school photos they can't buy.
That’s great!! I do some photos for friends and charge less too. The ones who hire me are less likely to afford expensive photographers too and they also are more picky with sharing sometimes. I guess family photos are more sensitive

When it comes to peoples children I am careful with international sharing. My local business page is likely to be seen locally not internationally. So I also get permission to share their photos in my blog. But I do occasionally. I actually don't think mom would mind, but they left to go out of town so I decided not to bother them on vacation.
Yes children are a bit more sensitive. I agree, should ask permission for those
