How are you all? I am sharing the thoughts about the book 2 in "The Mortal Instrument" Series written by Cassandra Clare.

In City of ashes Clary Frey was haunted by her past. She was brought more deeper into the terrifying truth of New York City's underworld demons and shadowhunters. But can Clary controls her feelings for a boy who can never be hers?

Clary come to know that valentine is her father and he is the most evil of all. Her father is also a shadowhunter but he is among them who turned bad. Valentine told Clary that Jace is her brother when both of them heard this they were shock because both have feelings for each other.

Clary cannot accept Valentine as her father and Jace too cannot accept Clary's mother as her mother because jacer was raised be his father and Clary wads raised by her mother.

Jace believe that valentine is a good man and Clary hates valentine. At the same time they both can't accept that they are brother in sister because they love each other like a man loves a women and a women love's a man.

Wall Street Journal said about the book that it is "The New Queen Of Fantasy".
