Yes, the initial drop shipment for our area around Houston last year was over 50 semi tractor trailer loads according to what my wife said she remembers, it was a real screwed up delivery last year because the normal facility the Girl Scouts used to stage the trailers was a local horse racing track that doesn't have live racing in February. The delivery was scheduled for Super Bowl weekend and the horse racing track decided to hold a big event that weekend because the Super Bowl was in Houston, they notified the Girl Scout two weeks before hand that they couldn't use the parking lots that they were promised and they had to find a different location to have the drop shipment made too. Not an easy task to find parking for 50 semi trailers and have access for hundreds of cars and small truck to drive thru and pick up the cookies.
I would think that the contract for the bakery and the packaging manufacturer would be a pretty could boost for their annual numbers.

Well good luck to them, would be nice to think they give a portion of their profits back but I wouldn't bet on it

I[m pretty sure that it would be a pretty competitive bid situation from the baking and packaging aspect, probably not a whole lot of margin to work with as for as donating back from their end.
