Talking to plain folk about Crypto on my errands now!
Man, this is really cool! I spoke to two people today in my travels about Crypto. One was a Coin and Stamp store in Downey CA, and the other was a body shop in Long Beach, CA. Both people had heard of Bitcoin! One was scared of it and suggested I buy Gold, he said the government will regulate the hell out of this new endeavor so back away. I told him to start blogging on Steemit and get involved, to educate himself and make some Steem.
The other was a person from Armenia who is anti-government and mentioned Snowden. I told him about Dash and Steemit. Then he emailed me the estimate and I emailed back Amanda B. Johnson's Dash school! He's happy about it and wants to know more! A. Maze. Ing. :)
I think I'll do that each and every day.
I do the same thing. Some people think I'm crazy though lol
Approach people cautiously and feel them out at the same time, then mention bitcoin casually to see if they've heard about it. That opens a door. In my experience. :)
Yeah, I was just talking with an old buddy of mine this evening about Cryptos. He was very concerned that I had embraced the whole concept. He spent about 20 minutes grilling me about it, but at the end of the conversation I think he saw the beauty behind the decentralization of it all. Things are changing.
That's great. I'll have to remember that aspect when talking to people. So many factors to share. I'm still learning how to talk to people about it.
