[Daily Thouht Sharing] Minimalism Lifestyle for Everyone.

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

Hello, I am Stephen.
Today, I want to talk about Minimalism Lifestyle.

◎ What is Minimalism Lifestyle?

It is a way of life that is trying to live happier by living simpler.
Which include less possession, less relationship, smaller meal, living in a smaller house or not having a car at all.
Sounds like a life of a hermit? Is every day going to be boring, painful and dull?
No, actually it is not and I hope you can try some of the small tips that I will elaborate.

◎ Small steps to Minimalism Lifestyle.

  1. Buy less.

We are living in world of abundance.
(Thanks! mass production, amazing logistics, and highly advanced capitalism!)
But the problem is we got used to having more than we actually need.

For example, how many clothes you have that you rarely wear?
Or how many foods expired or turned in your refrigerator recently?
Buying less is a simple yet powerful step to Minimalism Lifestyle.
Just try to think bit more before you pay the money. Do I really need it or I just want it?

  1. Eat less.

I am not asking you to starve of course. But I am asking you to stop eating for enjoyment propose only.
I am talking about snacks, junk foods, overeating, drinking soda and juices(Actually most juices are not healthy as well.)
It would feel amazing that you can be more energetic with taking less food. As most junk food doesn't gives you enough energy and make you spend energy for digesting them!

  1. Meet less.

Again, I am not asking you to isolate yourself. Unlike common belief, more friends are not always better.
You need to learn to cut off toxic people from yourself. You need to know how to allocate your limited time to people who really matter. You don't have to satisfy everyone around you. clearing bad relationship is an essential part of social life. (Which is a hard concept to understand when you are a freshman.)

◎ Benefits of Minimalism Lifestyle.

You will have more time, money and space in your house.
You will focus on what matters to you.
You will live more vividly by cutting off unnecessary part of your life.
Sounds nice? Although it is not a special life-changing miracle, it can give you small insights.
Would you try?

This is the first article that I try.
I know it is not great but we cannot start anything if we are going to wait to be great even before the start.
I will try to write something every day, although the quality and length can be random. :)
That's it for today, and hope you guys have a great day.

Woff, woff!

Hello @stephenjang, Nice to meet you!

I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.

KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!

Tips:

  • If you're not comfortable to write in Korean, I highly recommend you write your post in English rather than using Google Translate.
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
  • So, here's what might happen afterward. Your Google-Translated post might be mistaken as a spam so that whales could downvote your post. Yikes! I hope that wouldn't happen to you.
  • If your post is not relevant to Korea, not even vaguely, but you still use KR tag, Whales could think it as a spam and downvote your post. Double yikes!
  • If your post is somebody else's work(that is, plagiarism), then you'll definitely get downvotes.
  • If you keep abusing tags, you may be considered as a spammer. It may result to put you into the blacklist. Oops!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!

Woff, woff! 🐶
