There is a "small" Italian football club called Benevento. They are in the Serie A - which is Italy's top league.

The record they broke was established in the season of 1930-31; by guess who? Man Utd.

Well, interestingly this is a negative record actually.

Benevento started this season with 13 losses out of 13 games - so that is 13 consecutive losses. This is the worst in the top leagues' history in Europe.

This record was held by Man Utd before as they lost 12 consecutive games in the league in the 1930-31 season.

Who would have thought.
