GAME OF THRONES VS THE HYPE...

hi everyone,

my wife and baby traveled week weeks ago and so i was always home alone after work and mostly on weekends, so i decided to pass time by visiting a friend of mine whom i haven't seen over a year,she is married with kids, i was really excited to see her and her kids, husband dashed out for an important meeting on work related matter, which i really didnt try to ask.
her children, 2 girls...they were so cute.
after she offered me some cold water, which i opted for, i settled down and was hoping for a wonderful catch-stories when she suddenly asked if i still love tv series like i used to back in the days, to which i gracefully said yes and she offered to give me a couple of DVDs to watch back home to pass time and keep me from the boredom of being all alone at home, at least for whats its worth.

while i was going through the pile of DVDs i noticed about 6copies of DVDs well packed and kept as if they were DVDs of some special life event or ceremony one would want to keep far away fro the reach of children, only for me to discovered they were "Game of Thrones previouse seasons", 6 in total, i was so purprise that i had to ask why the special attention Game of thrones DVDs..."hmmm! its one of those shows i would want my children to see" she said as if it was some kind of legacy.

i didnt say much about it then but the issue has been on my mind for some time and i just find it had to see whats so special about this "Game of Thrones" show really! if i remember correctly i did see a couple of episodes from the very first season, if not all. i grew tired and decide to let go and settled for other shows at the time, either Davinci's Demon or Supernatural and Naruto for sure, but Game of Thrones, i just done get what the hype is all about, the plot seem too far reaching to me.

i have seen hundreds of great tv shows which of cause i can't start listing here, but Game of Thrones just didnt that list for me, infact i had to download all the episodes from the current season 7 just to re-establish my stand on show but its still the same, i even prefer "The Last Kingdom" which aired just season for so far to Game of Thrones.

anyway, am just laying out my opinion of the show, but i would really like to know most peoples own opinion on the Game Of Throne show in comparrison with"The Last Kingdom".
