A Day On The Farm - Blog 4
Beautiful day today Steemsters,
Enjoying all that is great and natural today while being reminded not to take it for granted. A short visit to my family's orchard today ended up with some great conversation about chemtrails and government control. I am seeing how so many people are aware of the backwards way that governments run, even though they try to make it seem that we are alone in disagreeing with the system.
As a fruit tree farmer, my step dad was showing me the huge book of regulations of what he can and cannot do. He has to pay out of his own pocket be inspected every season to ensure that no piece of fruit is picked up off the ground once dropped. If so, it is contaminated and no fruit will be accepted. If he doesn't douse his hands with chemical sanitizer before touching the fruit then it is also bad. No dirt allowed in our food, only chemicals! The list goes on and on and many of these rules are beyond absurd. Yet, we bring in fruit from all over the world, from third world countries even and they do not go to every farm and inspect that it is handled the same way. So our own local growers are charged out of pocket for rules that don't even apply to most of the food that you buy at the grocery store sitting right beside it. His carefully inspected apples are sitting beside the bananas from a farm that no one even knows if they own hand sanitizer. Why would this be? They are able to make a dollar off of the people in this country by calling it law. Not because any food is better or worse, its all about the dollar that can be made off of you.
The more we seem alone, the more we feel like things cannot change. But I disagree with this. I think that people are stronger than money and that the many can make the difference over the wealthy. If we want to see change we need to be louder about it so that we see how similar we all really are. Life is too beautiful to spend it living the way someone else says to. Freedom is out there, we just need to come together and get it.
