2018 Bullet Journal [pics]
Last year in March I started a bullet journal for the first time. At that time, starting a bullet journal seemed like an overwhelming undertaking, particularly because there were so many content creators publishing about bullet journaling whose journals were unbelievably perfect.
I was not very happy with the appearance of most of the earlier spreads and pages in my bullet journal. However, I was very satisfied with the function of the journal.
I started a new journal in 2018 equipped with all my failings from 2017. While, I don't think the quality of my spreads can compare with many of the popular bloggers that cover bullet journaling, I think they are looking good in their own right.
This is a map that I'm going to use to record our travels this year. We're starting out in Antioch, CA.
This is the style of the Future Log (AKA Calendex) that I liked to use. This is probably one of the most important pages in my journal. I check it everyday before planning.
This is the page that I'm going to record the books that I read this year. The quote says: "A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies a man who never reads lives only once."
Like the reading page, this one will be used to record the movies and TV shows that I watch this year.
I have made the commitment to give the Steemit site a year of effort and part of that commitment means one post per day. This page I intend to track my progress here and see what happens! The page next to it speaks for itself. It's a tracker for my business expenses.
Here I've made some personal goals for myself in 2018. I'll fill in the squares as I accomplish them. The page next to it, is a kind of rough sketch of an ideal day.
This is also self explanatory. My husband and I are making the goal to pay down at least the student loans this year. I also want to track the pay-down progress on our Subaru. I left a few blank pages after that just in case I want to add more major trackers.
Every month I start with a picture of some sort. I usually try to draw them or do a water color painting, but I procrastinated so badly in my January set up that I just went with a printed picture that I glued in.
Every month I keep a journal of a few lines per day and here's what that looks like.
Every month I keep a goals tracker and here's an example of what my daily's look like.
