Indian pacer Islander Chahar did everything possible for a bowler in a Twenty20 match. Meeting the demands of the captain is to stop the opponent's wheel, take timely wickets and fulfill the dream hat-trick for the latest bowler.
India's right-arm pacer Dipak Chahar has made his name on the world record by doing so much in the same match. In the last match of the series, he dismissed Bangladesh's batting lineup alone and took 6 wickets for only 7 runs. Match tea bowling figures 3.2-0-7-6!
There is no record of anyone taking 6 wickets for such a low run in international Twenty20 cricket. Sri Lanka spinner Ajantha Mendis holds the world record with 6 wickets for 8 runs so far. This time, both of them dropped Chahar.
Chahar also picked up a hat-trick in international T20 cricket as India's first and the 11th bowler in the world. Shafiul Islam was the last ball of the 18th over of the innings, Mostafizur Rahman bowled the first ball of the 20th over and Aminul Islam completed the hat-trick in the second ball.
Earlier, three well-known batsmen, Liton Kumar Das, Soumya Sarkar and Mohammad Mithun returned to the backyard as victims of tea.
