The Real Cause(in His Godhead not Ipseity) is only found in a desperate situation where none of the secondary causes seem possible to come about.

As there cannot be two varied efficient cause of the beginning, there cannot be two varied final cause of the end. A heart is only capable of one king whether it be real or supposititious.

The love(paradise)/fear(hell) of hereafter, as long as it is concieved as a continuation of here(dunya), is love/fear of here. Because in this horizon, what desires here does not differ from what desire hereafter which is the lowerself. Hereafter, in this sense, is not the matter of numinious "desires" but banal whims.
