Catstory #5 : Funny

Around 10 years ago me and my family decided that we want to get a cat due to the demands of me and my dad. So we went to the animal shelter in our area and that was where we saw Funny for the first time. She was around a year old back then and was found on a parking lot because she got abandoned by her old owners. Few weeks later we took her home. The name “Funny” was already given to her by the animal shelter but it was cute so we decided to keep it. She used to be extremely shy towards everyone including us. She didn’t like to be touched and was getting scared very easily.

Well she has been living with us since then and it’s been 10 years by now. She is way more calm and likes to cuddle (if she wants to though) and sleep a lot. Of course Funny is still very uncomfortable with strangers but absolutely calm around us. She always looks grumpy but is actually very cute. Sometimes she sits behind the garden fence and looks at the dogs walking by, knowing they can’t reach her.

She is only playful during the Winter because it’s too cold to go outside and she gets bored. She loves to play with rubber bands and she usually throws them around. During the summer she goes out every day and sometimes she even sleeps outside.
