Presearch – The Next Generation Search Engine

Presearch, is a project that is on a path to become a fully decentralised search engine on the Ethereum blockchain. I have been following this project closely and participating in the closed beta phase for a few months now. It has recently transitioned into a public open beta phase. It’s a great opportunity to diversify your crypto portfolio, by adding another income stream which still has a huge upside looking towards the future.

Presearch users are rewarded with tokens, issued for performing everyday web searches powered by the Ethereum blockchain. It’s a great way to get involved in a community driven project and learn how the echo-system works, while also earning PRE tokens (ERC20) with real value. The other great thing about Presearch, is that it’s a great complimentary tool that can be used alongside steemit for research and information finding purposes, whilst not being a direct competitor. Why not use a search engine that rewards you for its use, rather than using a ‘free’ search engine from internet giants that collect your information and data, invades your privacy, and uses your data to make money from you!

For a project that is still in beta phase, the platform is extremely stable and user friendly, and has a great and intuitive interface which makes the user experience all the more enjoyable. The portal through which Presearch filters its search results, has been an ongoing and evolving process for many years, before becoming a fully-fledged blockchain project. The reason why the original web portal was created, has a back story which necessitated its foundation by entrepreneur, project lead and founder Colin Pape. He had a personal experience of severe censorship by Google, which almost destroyed his business. There you will find their white paper, including the roadmap, explaining the next steps in the project, towards becoming a fully decentralised search engine.
