Is second speaker of Mi A2 is not working?
Very true.. Many of the users go wrong in this aspect...........
Now we have a set of user, who prefer big indicated speaker and another set of people prefer small and compact speakers with slick design for the device...
However, there will be NO Sound in left side in bottom of the device which many people assumed to be Speaker port when actually it is not..

Have a check on these product page, click on "Spec" tab... Scroll downwards.. refer column: "buttons":
here you'll find diagrammatical descriptions, it is indicated very clearly that the left side / left side port of the phone (just below the symbol similar to "equal to symbol" , in simple language we call it is as "burger" icon i.e horizontal lines one above other is MIC,
and the port to the right of the screen i.e port below "<" mark is speaker / microphone...
