Exploring SteemWorld.org

I had the privilege to write a task for the Achievement 5 of the new comers' exercise. It was about exploring Steemworld.org. My time walking around the tool was more than just a task but a Worthwhile time learning on how to track and manage my operations on my steemit account. Hence, I wosh to share my experience here on my blog.

The Steemworld.org is really an in-depth explorer tool for a steemit account. The details of the accounts and the activities carried out on a particular account can be effectively monitored using this tool. Steemworld.org has a home page that displays the different interface tool that can be used on the platform and a disclaimer box that assures it's users the security of their vital details such as password as they are not stored on the platform. Among these tools, the Dashboard specifically tells the details of your account while the other tools are used for other functions on the steem blockchain such as account creation, account watch, account recovery, change password and so on.

The Dashboard

The dashboard interface is segmented into different sections which in themselves have subsections that caries information about the account we explore:

The Top

This is the uppermost section in the dashboard and it displays a graphical chart on the upper left corner that shows the rate of depletion and recovery of one's voting power. The voting power depletes as one goes on voting posts: this is at a rate of 2% per 100% weighted vote.

Thus, the depletion level as well as recovery is displayed in this section. The percentile value in dollars is also indicated. Other features of this section includes the link to the latest news about the blockchain; Common tags that are used; and the steem supported websites appearing as links.

Account Details

This section begins by having the username of the account displayed and extension of links to Feed, Community and Wallet. It also consists of subunit tabs such as stats, Balances, Account Details, Delegation, Followers, Mentions, Orders, Market Info, System Info and settings.

These subsections adequately provide information and features as the name of the heading implies;

• Stats:The stats shows an overview picture of the state of the account showing its reputation, voting power, number of posts, comments and votes. There is also option to simulate one's effective steem power or payout worth to whatever value as desired. This section also shows how long it would take to restore one's steem power back to 100%
  It also contain a section called Reward Summary and it gives a detail of what value of reward one has earned overtime. The Curation SP you've earned by curating and upvoting other people's work; the Author's earned you've earned by the appreciation of one's work by upvoting; the steem and the Steemdollars earned over time are confidently spelt out in this section.

• Balances: The section gives a detail of the funds in one's wallet and options to carry out functions such as transfer, transfer to savings, power up and power down.
  
• Account Details:This gives a detailed information about one's account including the recovery account attached.
  
• Delegations: This section shows details of incoming Delegations made to one's account and outgoing delegations one has made to other accounts.
• Followers: In this section, one has the opportunity to view every one of his followers and there is option to follow or unfollow any of them.

• Mentions: This section displays a detail of every mention of one's username anywhere in posts, comments or replies. It shows the user, time of mention and link to the post.

• Orders: this section open a space to make a buy or sell orders of the steem tokens.

• Market Info:This section tells detail of the structure and current state of market.

• System Info:this gives a general information about Steem.

• Settings:The features on the steemworld.org can be edited in this section.

Account Operations

This section shows the operations or tasks that were carried out on one's accounts per time. Votes, post creation, comments, author and Curation reward earned, transfer, notifications can be tracked in the section.

In addition, there is a drop-down function that gives detail of each operations. This would indicate the block number and the transaction number of the operation.

Posts

This section explores one's active and finished posts. There is option to filter by different criteria such as date, tag and limit. Each post can then be explored to it's details showing Post summary, content, comments, replies, votes and Resteems.

Coming Rewards

This section shows the current list coming author and Curation rewards with their pay-in time and value in SP and SBD.

Tools

This is the last tab and it contains other tools that interact with the steem Blockchain such as block explorer, account creation, account recovery, account auth, withness overview, key generator, Change password, Delegation history just to mention a few.

Conclusion

The tool steemworld.org is an intensive explorer of the operations present on the Steem Blockchain. This provides users with ability to track every of their operations and be in good light of details of each of them.
