Wow Steem Is Up Nicely

Steem almost back to 40 cents and that sure didn't take long. Is it because this coincides with SPUD? Could be. Actually it is probably best to buy around just after mid month far away from SPUD because prices will be lower. But that's just a suspicion and not proven by any means.

So where do I think Steem will go? I think $1 is probably a fair value estimate based on historical prices as well as how the markets have moved in general. If BTC is up 10x then Steem going up 10x would see it at around $1.50.

But that never happens and Steem always seems to lag behind, so i'd settle for a $1. That's still more than a doubling from where we are now so I just have to HODL.

Beyond $1

Ok, so getting ahead of myself now but as long as Steem continues to attract new users who are willing to buy into Steem, then beyond a $1 is definitely doable.

I calculated that the value of a facebook user is roughly $9 if i remember correctly. Blockchain users are valued more so $30 wouldn't be asking too much. To get a $500 million valuation, that would be 16 million users. Surely that's a doable number and would make Steem fairly valued.
