Dealing With An ISP That Doesn't Keep To Their Word

I really can't believe that my former ISP didn't keep to their word a second time. So as I said in a previous post, not one but two of their agents said that we could sign up to their plan and in the event of leaving the country they will waive the remaining balance of the plan.

Now after submitting the documents and them telling me that the remaining charges were waived, they now come back and tell me after a month that they have not waived the remainder of the contract. Thoroughly disappointed with their promises and lack of keeping them.

I am particularly annoyed because I had no intention of signing on to their plan but they kept doing a hard sell till we relented and then now they don't keep to their agreement. I will definitely be writing a complaint letter about how this whole thing was handled.

As a last resort, I am going to close out the bank account and let them try to debit from a non-existing account. Absolute joke of an ISP. Definitely not used to ISPs trying to fleece you like this. Usually everything is above the board.
