I had to stop and get out to verify it is indeed an operational pay phone.

And I actually put money in and got a dial tone. The throwback feeling was awesome man!

The $1 for 10 minutes sounds a bit high. Of course, when I depended on a pay phone way back when they cost 10 cents.

I remember when my sister and I were both dating we always left homme with a daddy dime. That way we could use the pay phone to call daddy to come get us if the guy turned out to be a jerk. Lol
