14- Years old Baby led the rally against the child labor
Yesterday, A 14- year-old Baby led the rally and a signature campaign against child labor in her community Bhalaswa to mark the National Anti-Child Labour Day. The baby was herself a child labor till 2014 and worked with waste like her parents.
But today she attends class 9th in a nearby government school and also imparts self-defense training to her peers after getting trained in it during her time with us. In the pictures below she can be seen engaging with her community against Child Labor as she leads 200 other children of our learning center under our No Child in Trash program.
About 11 cores (10% of our total population) children are working as child labors because of their poverty and because of their parents who are losses their children from getting the education. they missed out there childhood joy and memories because they got busy in doing labor for just some rupees to help their family with food. If we ignore this situation, it may prove to be harmful to all of us. We thank Oracle for their support in empowering these children to build a brighter future for themselves.
