1 : Take off your shoes !
Just do it , once you get into someone's house in Russia you will have to take off your shoes , don't worry the host will give you tapochki or slippers to wear , do you know why ? streets in Russia are very dirty, especially in big cities . so do it !!!
2 : Gift !! bring a gift !
we all know that it’s polite to bring the host a gift , if you are friend with the host you can ask beforehand what he would like you to add to the party , but if the host is woman you can bring something that women would like .. flowers .. wines etc etc
3 : Do not shake hands over a threshold !!!
when you are meeting someone in front door don't shake hands over a threshold. Wait until inside to do so.
4 : Never argue with grandmothers - babushkis-
whatever they say just smile :) honestly this happend also with my grandma .
