RE: Barracuda Diaries: blast from the past, Feb. 13, 2013
It really just makes me smile. A long time ago a very strong willed teenage girl age 17 decided to take a shop class in high school amidst a 20 odd number of young boys. I learned many things from changing a spark plug to tires. All to impress a desirable young man who raced cars and was a grease monkey. He changed engines and transmissions in cars the way other people change their jeans. Nevertheless I lost my interest in car repair but not the guy. I married him and never get my hands greasy but he still can fix just about anything. I admire your skills
I love this story! I married an artist who only ever had paint on his hands and jeans, but I always admired my father and brother for their mechanical mindedness and will forever regret not making my father teach me more while he was alive.
