Life Of A Robin, From Egg To Adolescence | Photo Gallery
I find it so awe inspiring that such tiny, delicate objects can hold such surprises within...
And then all of a sudden, life emerges...
As with all things in nature, they quickly change before your eyes...
Eventually filling the nest to the brim...
And then, as quick as they came... they leave to start their own life in the world.
Nature is similar to a lot of things in life... we are surrounded by beautiful moments all the time. But, if we don’t slow down long enough to pay attention, we might just miss them...
Thanks so much for reading,
Great pictures... It's interesting how both the American and European Robins both have the same colour eggs, but are very different by appearance and nature later on in life.... Almost two different species...
Thank you! Yes, I’m learning that Robins seems to come in all sorts of color variations that I never knew about. Crazy that the egg color is the thing they have in common though. I guess chickens are that way... the same breed might have different color variations but the eggs are generally the same color... hadn’t really thought about it before!
I was already a bit confused by its appearance. Thanks.
Beautiful set of pictures!
How long was it from the first to the last one?
Awe thank you! The first photo was taken on June 1st and the last was taken yesterday, so about 30days.
That was quick!
Maybe I should spend some time watching the birds around me. Fascinating little lives!
Thank you for sharing :)
Beautiful, @llfarms, as always :-)
You’re too kind @zyx066, thank you. Your kind words and support always make my day 🤗
WOW! Very amazing <3 The blue of the eggs is super beautiful and it is magical to see them grow so quick <3 Beautiful post, lele <3
Thank you so much @veryspider! It was pretty amazing to be able to capture their young lives... and those eggs are just stunning.
What a lovely post! You got some great photos of the development of the babies. My favorite was the last, in the evergreen tree. Love how the needles favor the markings of the bird.
Thank you 😊
The pattern similarities were really beautiful to me. He wouldn’t let me get any closer to get a more detailed shot haha!
Thank you!
This is truly wonderful. Life is so amazing, isn't it? Just recently I learnt, that you can find in the North a Robin with a blue front (Bluethroat). Maybe the bird haches red eggs :-)
Have a nice day!
Thank you! Life is incredible ❤️. I did not know that about the bluefront Robin! What a color combination... now I’m totally curious what color their eggs are haha.

Beautiful and I completely agree! Lovely photography work @llfarms.
Thank you so much!
Nicely captured. This just convinces me of my recent idea of getting a time lapse cam and capturing nature, long term in this fashion. Mind you a 4k underwater cam would be awesome too, maybe if we see crypto hit parabollic again that will all become possible :) Cheer$;)
Thank you! And yes please do that!! I want to add them to the bird houses around the property and also in the beehives. I know the bee hives might be a bit more difficult due to lack of light, but oh how amazing it would be to watch them in action!
how beautiful this post is in many ways. i am truly mesmerized!
