Personally, I believe that we must support street markets. Especially the one formed by the farmers. In some places there are weekly markets where farmers sell directly.

In Tamil Nadu, there are daily markets (Uzhavar Santhai) a.k.a farmer's market. Common public and farmers get benefit through such initiatives by the Govt.
