Vijay Column is a pillar or tower located in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan, India. It was built between 1442 and 144 9 in the form of a memorial of victory over the armies of Malva and Gujarat under the leadership of Mewar Naresh Rana Kumbha, led by Mahmud Khaliji. This is a symbol of Rajasthan Police and Secondary Education Board. It is called the Encyclopedia of Indian Sculpture and the Ajaybagh of Hindu Goddess Deities. The height of 120 feet, the 9-storey Vijay pillar is a remarkable specimen of fine and beautiful workmanship of Indian architecture, which is wide from the bottom, narrower in the middle and the size of the rectified Damru. There are 157 stairs to go upstairs. The column was constructed by Maharana Kumbha on the basis of his made maps under the guidance of the great architectural settlement of his time. On the inner and outer parts of this pillar, engraved with various incarnations of Indian deities, Ardhanarishvar, Uma-Maheshwar, Lakshminarayana, Brahma, Savitri, Harihara, Patamah Vishnu and characters of Ramayana and Mahabharata
