The Disconnection of Self
Seemingly, we live in such a diverse universe however the human race seems to discredit the fact that we all bleed the same color blood, hurt at the lost of love, laugh at the joys of accomplishments and desire the need for growth. On a physical level we aim to pursue the things that feed the outer shell of our being, too afraid to dive into the core of our being. On a spiritual level we have numbed the connection to the essence of who we are. This numbing has occurred through the continuous search for external power, which can be taken away at anytime. This numbing has occurred through violating our bodies in ways that we deem to be of little importance. The fuel we choose to consume, the products we use on our bodies and the words we absorb through our daily interactions. If we were to listen more to our intuitive voices would we be in the same position as we are in today?
Do we realize how far we have come from the disconnection of Self?
If we were to ask Self what we truly desire would the answer be superficial or of deep thought?
He is lost who is possessed by carnal desire.
