Motorcycles or bikes whatever name you give has become a necessity these days for youngsters - not only a necessity but also a craze. Everywhere you see boys prefer bikes to scooters. Sports bikes, Heavy and stylish bikes have become a trend and although while planning on buying a two-wheeler, elderly people will lean towards a scooter because it’s lighter than a motorcycle, youngsters won’t. It’s a fact that the young generation of today will lean towards a bike to scooters and most of the younger generation prefer the speedy and stylish look. Most of them are inspired by film stars who are shown performing breath-taking stunts on the screen, but people forget what is shown is not real.
This generation is looking for a thrill in everything they do, that includes riding a bike too. I bet you’ve seen kids jumping with their bikes in a park or on empty roads during night hours. These days we have to show our talent and pride in order to prove our worth. It is very true that youth these days, in our fast paced world, is trying to get everything done very fast in every aspect of life. It is very common to see youngsters racing at top speed on narrow streets. At such dangerous speed, an accident is just waiting to happen.
Extreme sports and bike racing mostly attract the today's generation kids, but they try these sports without complete knowledge and guidelines resulting in accidents. Anyhow, this thrill needs to be maintained in order to not have an accident.
A very good part of the bike manufacturers understand this and manufacture such bikes which attract young boys towards it, whatever the price may be,bike lovers do not compromise. There are a number of bikes like Ducati, BMW K 1300R, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki Ninja and Honda CBR which cost in lakhs but still has a big demand, One can buy a car at this price but still people pay so much for a bike, this clearly shows the never-ending craze for bikes.
Apart from this, there are several other reasons that one would prefer a bike, congested roads and traffic are one of the biggest problems that we are facing today and many prefer bikes as it makes it easy to get through this and make life comfortable and easy to travel. Fuel efficiency could also be another reason - as bikes are not only super looking they are also fuel efficient compared to cars and scooters. Attitude, Impressing girls, night out on bikes is the biggest reason for youngsters preferring bikes.
Talking of all this, we forget safety, which is the biggest concern and which the younger generation overlook. Safety not only for the rider but also for the people walking on the roads. We hear of so many accidents and a majority are two-wheelers, In craze for riding bikes at top speed younger generation fail to take any precautions. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, you should always have your safety gear as events may happen, even for professional bikers.
But above all, it is the excitement of riding the bike at top speed make the generation of today go crazy.
