Closing my AMEX account after 8 years

I have closed my american express account after 8 years membership.

The reason is that:

• I have rarely used it in the last 12 months or so except a few cases where Apple pay is more convenient. For example, some restaurants support ordering on the phone by using App or QR code - submiting orders via Apple Pay/Wallet is quicker.
• Not many shops or restauranet support Amex card (Big supermarkets support e.g. Tesco)
• I have mainly used: Wirex, Crypto.com, and Crypto Ledger
• AMEX has 25 GBP annual membership fee which is taken at your membership anniversary month. The cash back is given to you in rebate. Last 12 months, the cash back to me is 6 GBP, basically 1% of your purchases.
• Another benefit that I don't use much is the Cashback offers, but you have to login to the AMEX app and click each offer to claim them. I always forgot to do that!
