Once again a wave of dissatisfaction takes over from Steemit in a downtime of Steem / SBD. Users fight against each other with posts against and in favor of the function of whales, dolphins and witnesses on the platform. Complaints about lack of recognition, omission, lack of support are frequent complaints from the unsatisfied side.
On the other side, the people of "let it go" style, praise for the whale's function, arguments that whales are right to act as they are today, as they have invested a lot of money on the platform and want to return their investment even for that they can use their thousands of vote-buying projects (sic) who concentrate more power on their hands than aid in the distribution of rewards.
This is not the first and it will not be the last time I see this type of "bomb" being blown up here on this platform. I have seen other similar occasions. I have seen and lived here worse times and after all that I have spent here, few and good, I am "anesthetized". Nor do I comment more on posts about these situations that occur, I run away from groups, chats, Discord servers, everything that deals with and where the main subject is Steemit.
Not by omission, because do I want to be the "separate", because I am not interested or because I do not want to be engaged with the community, but simply because they are efforts that lead me "from nowhere to nowhere" is an insane effort to want to "embrace the wind".
Yes, I have several opinions on possible solutions to the rewards problems here at Steemit, how can we heal or abolish this "social abyss" here with few people earning much, while thousands earn little. But I honestly got tired. I'm tired of giving opinions here and fighting for them.
I'm sure that this phase, like many others I've seen and lived here in these 1 year and a half, will pass. I do not put the "hand in the fire" by anyone (as I have never put here by anyone), I do not defend, and I am not against or in favor of whale, dolphin, witness. I'm only thinking about the newbies who join the platform, those who come in the hope of being rewarded according to what they add to Steemit. And is to these newbies who will my support, my concern and my defense.

Obrigado por ter lido o meu post!
Thanks for Reading My Post!
Now it is very difficult for beginners to earn even one cent. However, many old-timers do not manage to do this either. I hope that the situation will change for the better
Let's pray my dear...hugs for you! :)
You are right. Things will change automatically here on steemit.
I believe that time is always the best remedy and only a united, caring community can change things here.
Good post jsantana, I'm not one for getting involved in the arguments for and against whales etc..I'm sure we need them and as in many areas there are good and bad, we learn to live with it.
My only problem as noob is not being able to keep my posts on the page long enough for anyone to see them, not sure if there is a solution to that, but I'll keep plodding along, I'm earning small amounts and I'm happy with that so far. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Excellent friend. Glad to hear your experience here. I believe that everyone here is important and should not be ignored. Good luck for you here at Steemit and thank you!
Hello again @jsantana, I posted recently in Much the same way. However, I don’t believe that my post got read by anyone. I didn’t get a single upvote, and I think that it was fairly well written. So that holds exactly to the point that you make about newbies getting little or no recognition on the platform. There is Zero incentive to upvote a Great Post if the poster has under a 50 reputation, and not much incentive until they reach levels in the high 60’s or better. Because of the way that the system is structured, the Whales are not only getting all the upvotes, but nobody is even bothering to read the posts from people with under a 50 reputation. It must change or users will simply tire of the Oligarchy and leave Steemit in the past. Just my opinion, but I don’t think that I’m wrong. Good post, I upvoted it.
I understand you. I was already a newbie and suffered a lot to get my recognition. Today I still do not have it, yes, not yet, I do not have whale votes, but I stay here because I like it and feel free to post here every day. That's my motivation. I hope you succeed. Big hug and thank you!
I have only been here a month, so I might know nothing...but It seems to me this could be following the crypto market as a whole. FUD happens in cycles. People are overly optimistic, and then a cycle of negativity and gloom and doom set in. Steemit is the embodiment of cryptos, and the state of the market and its uncertainty as we are in a bear market right now show it. I decided yesterday that if i was really going to try my best for a year (like I set out to do) on this platform I was going to need to remain highly optimistic. That means not spending hours of reading about the negatives about Steemit (as dumb as that sounds) No one knows whats going to happen in year. I just hope to do my best, and that Steemit does its best to grow and implement changes, after all, thats all I can do.
I believe that despite a certain depression in the crypto market, the Steemit community is not affected. What affects the Steemit community is actually concentration of power, omission, injustice committed by those who "have the power" and at least for me, it does not affect me much the price of Steem, but how this community can be strong with cooperation between all who make the platform.
I think I also need to pay less attention to these quarrels, squabbles, hysterics. I'm tired of seeing these complaints of injustice. In recent days, the tense situation around here is particularly felt. Endless debate over how good or bad it is to use bots, pay or not to pay, appreciated or underestimated anyone's post. Tired of seeing one-word comments such as "good post, bro! ". What "brother"? I'm actually a girl :( .
It's not because I don't care what's going on in our community. I'm going to run out of patience, too. My despair is not that I was paid$ 2 per post, which I spent 4 - 6 hours of my time. That means I wasn't interesting enough for others or my job wasn't too competitive here. Then I must try to do better. It is worth paying attention to the fact that the voice strength of many now is too small %. It takes time to restore the power of the voice. Me in particular, too. I feel now very bad due to the fact that are not able to reward good authors as they deserve. My despair is that now the communication here goes into some wrong direction. I always think that if you have nothing to say here, you better shut up. Thank you for your post.
I think all too much is poison. All the time complaining or "turning a blind eye" to what is wrong all the time can be damaging. I am still waiting for an open, honest and realistic debate on what they will do about abuse, spam and rewards. I am hopeful that a deeper hard fork that will allow an end to a "social abyss" here, making our environment more harmonious and cooperative can help a lot. Steemit can only change something today if it becomes a platform of solidarity. Thank you @madlenfox
Thank you, I respect your opinion.
U Wrote Very True Man I Think Same As U..
Whales are Shit..
Steemit is a gear, everyone needs one of the others here. Whales are important in the process.
