What's up, everyone? By this point, it seems that everyone in their mom has a blog. In fact it's hard to scroll through Instagram without coming across food bloggers after fashion blogger or protecting bloggers, honestly it's pretty exhausting and frankly, I'm envious of anyone who gets to call themselves a professional blogger but it doesn't matter if you're blogging professionally or just for fun.

Quick tips to grow your audience and get your blog more engagement.

The key to blogging is to write about the topics that you're passionate about to focus on the things that come naturally to you that flow out of you almost effortless. Once you've identified an area that you're interested in blogging about it's time to find an audience that's interested in following along or if you're blogging about something entirely unique it's time to create a new audience.

So join Facebook group and LinkedIn groups where people are already discussing similar topics and when you finish a new post share your work on these groups and ask the others to do the same make sure you always post links from your work to Reddit under the appropriate subreddits and of course share on Twitter and Instagram using relevant hashtags.

One quick way to grow your Instagram following is to search for a specific hashtag that's relevant to your blog for example hashtag technology and scroll through liking every single picture with that hashtag. This way the people whose photos you like will presumably click on your profile some of them call you and ideally others will click through to the blog that you've linked to in your bio.

Use your different forms of social media to promote your blog but use them differently. for example, if you want to share a really long story about your latest piece Instagram probably isn't the right Avenue Instagram is all about quality pictures and concise captions. You're better off sharing your long stories to Facebook and using Instagram for more visual content. The point is not to post the same old thing on all of your social networks but rather to tailor each.

To deliver clickable headlines be the tease that you hated in high school. Headline writing is basically a balancing act. You need to peak enough interest for the viewer to click through to your story without disclosing two months too soon. So you need to be explicit. We need to tell the viewer exactly why your post will add value to their life and then leave them wanting more.

Listen to numbers your key points when you write people have a short attention span of these days and will rifle through your post. So facilitate their skimming with numbers letters and bullet points whenever possible aim to keep your posts within the ballpark of about 300 to 600 works.
