Quick Update | Loving the Banana Allergy Monkey 🍌
Hi everyone!
So I just quickly wanted to let you know two things..
One: I'm right now working on a "March Favorites" entry containing my current obsessions in skincare, music and whatever else made my world go 'round this past month. It should be up soon, so keep an eye out for that!
Two: This should actually go in my April Favorites (and probably will). But I'm just so obsessed with the weirdness of this song that I wanted to give it a quick shoutout here anyways ^^
It's a Kpop song (of course). It's by a sub-unit of the girlgroup Oh My Girl called Oh My Girl Banhana. A sub-unit is simply a selection of members from a Kpop group that release a song seperate from full-group promotions.
The song is called "Banana Allergy Monkey" aaaand.. what you see is what you get. The song and aesthetic are pure adorable weirdness, honestly. And I love it!
The song is actually a commercial for banana milk.. that being said, the lyrics talk about how a monkey who is allergic to bananas is happy that banana milk exists. The dance routine is complete with monkey-like moves, scratching from allergic reactions and, finally, interactions with a banana. I think it's hilarious!
