Working woman; A great stride ahead

One very conspicuous change in our society in the presence of working woman outside the home. Of course, it has to be acknowledged that woman have always worked within the household but this commonly is not counted as work. It is unfortunate that woman's rules in agriculture societies have not been recognised either.

Whether it is due to economic necessity or the urge to established an individual identity or both. Nowadays many woman are entering the outside work force. They are joining the wide range of profession. Moreover, it is not only educated woman who are opting to work but woman with little or no education have come out of their cocoons to earn and become self-reliant.

This does not means that life is any easier for woman now. In many ways it is more difficult, since woman must still fulfilled with their traditional rules of wife, mother and homemaker. At work, as they compete with men they have no prove their worth twice over in order to survive.
We should be realise that, woman's working sector is also necessary for developing a society.

It's not only for their income, but also for development of a country.
