Why can't we travel faster than the speed of light?
Everone of us knows about the most hated rule of nature that we can't move faster than light, But Why it is so?
The exact speed of light is: 299,792,458 metre/second
For an assumption, if we are travelling in a car which has the speed of light it would be: 670,616,629 miles per hour.
But the most interesting fact is that the maximum speed ever travelled by a human being is 24,233 miles per hour which is travelled by an astronaut, but it is still 28000 times slower than the speed of light.
The light just takes 8 minutes 20 seconds to reach the sun which is almost 150 million km from the Earth.
As every one of us knows about the famous Einstein Equation : E=(MC)Square
What does Einstein means about it:
As we accelerate an object harder, the mass of that particular objects keeps on increasing, making the object heavier thereby making it tough for the object to accelerate more so that it can reach such high speed, because of this reason no object can move as fast or faster than the speed of light.
So if we compare an object to light, light is made up of photons which do not have any mass & the moment they are created they are already at the top speed.
Let us assume something out of the world:
What if we invented something in the future despite all the odds, that could fly at 90 per cent of light speed, do you want to know, how it will feel like:
Let us consider you & your friend wear the same watch before you travel in that machine & the time in both watches is 7 am, as soon as you start flying, the time for you will become very slow almost half as compared to the person watching you from Earth, so it will be 7.20 am in your friends watch but your watch would be showing you 7.10 am. You will also feel strange experiencing every big thing transforming into a tunnel-shaped object.
And the best part you will time travel in the future.
BACK IN THE REALITY:
If anything like time-travel existed, then we would have seen some of the tourists from the future itself,
Who knows we might see someone soon!
