Afternoon tea and a game of bat and ball

A day out with the parents for afternoon tea treat and a couple of pints with my brother watching cricket.

Been meaning to take my father out for Father’s Day which was a good couple of weeks ago. He been in hospital with cellulitis for a couple of weeks around Father’s Day so we all decided to go today.

We went to a local hotel which we previously been too and the amount of sugar was amazing. I love sugar I have a sugar tooth as they say cakes are cakes so you may as well eat them. Not sure people say that but I do!!!!

My brother went onto a social media platform called the book of face, or something like that and won tickets to the cricket. Been trying to get him on steemit but not interested. The tickets were a prize from a brewing company called Glamorgan beer which does very nice local beer.

Now I understand certain parts of this world may not understand what cricket is but basically it’s baseball with less running for the batsman.

Glamorgan won quite easily but it’s was nice spending time with my brother having a pint or six and talking about pointless sport and nothing else. Funny enough we only talked about sports involving one ball. I got a feeling my brother was avoiding any sport that involved an multiple balls.
