"Inexplicable death beholds man every once in their lifetime"Alice said as she turned around to look at Andre as he stepped into the room.Her thoughts had began to make her suicidal." But why...why me" she screamed as she threw the make-up kit she has been holding in her hand towards the mirror she had been staring into for about an hour now.Andre moved slowly towards as if she had a gun pointed at him.There was a reason she was called "Mad Alice" by the town folks but this was not even close to the reason why.When she was sixteen,she took her dad's pistol without his knowledge,headed straight to old Mr.Olihero's farm and shot five cows.She was never reprehended for it,her parents had taken sides with her all through Mr.Olihero's suspicions...He always yelled "Evil child" when he saw her.
31 years later now she's 47 and like everything else,the unnutured and overlooked evil inside her had grown.Karma had also come for her;Eric,her 21 yr old son had gotten himself into a drug dealing feud,was caught,and had been sentenced to a long time in prison.
Andre held her and seemingly dozed off as he laid his head on her shoulders,he had'nt had slept well in a while due to alice's constant midnight cries.
"Baby,be strong" he said almost as if he
had'nt said anything at all "do you think all my bad luck in life can be traced back to what I did to Mr.Olihero years ago" she uttered,Andre was about to speak when;
Ringgggg Ringgggggggg,it was betty,her sister calling,she picked up quite hastily,it was chloe,her only sister who had'nt cut her off,her mum and dad stopped talking to her years ago..."yes chloe,what did you find out,is he alive"
"Yes,he is" replied chloe after a moment of silence.....
