What has excited me so far in the young movie year 2018 is the prospect of watching a movie at the end of the year in the cinema. Then my son should be old enough that I can leave him with his grandparents.
When everyone on the Internet suddenly tells stories about the Leipzig Book Fair, for example, I get a bit sad. It's been ages since I've visited a fair or convention, and I probably will not have that freedom for the next couple of years.
The movie "Tribute of Panem" is in my opinion overrated, because at least the films are not really innovative. The idea is not new, Battle Royal is older. The implementation of the film is rather lame, I could not find access to it. Maybe because I do not know the books.
Whereas the series Marco Polo is underestimated and doesn‘t get the deserved attention. After all the series is at least as exciting as "Vikings" and better than some other historical series. Also I think it's good that it was filmed with the Mongolians. It seems to me that antiquity or generally European or American history is more often chosen as topic.
When I picked up my artbooks lately I could not stop flipping through them. Unfortunately, because of the lack of space, they are stored at my parents home. I miss the inspiration which those books give me and what I can learn from them.
When the mood is low and I do not feel like doing anything else, watching movies is always possible, because there are films for every mood. You can make yourself comfortable and turn your head off, distract yourself or get pulled into it. As you like.
Recently I visited a toddler playgroup and that was strange, because somehow I can‘t find access to the other parents. Finding a connection is somehow difficult for me. I often feel like a unicorn.
Was mich im noch jungen Filmjahr 2018 bisher begeistert hat ist die Aussicht vielleicht einen Film am Ende des Jahres im Kino zu sehen. Dann sollte mein Sohn alt genug sein, dass ich ihn auch mal bei den Großeltern lassen kann.
Wenn im Internet dann plötzlich wieder alle von der Leipziger Buchmesse erzählen dann werde ich ein wenig wehmütig. Es ist ewig her das ich eine Messe oder Convention besucht habe und diese Freiheit werde ich vermutlich auch die nächsten paar Jahre nicht haben
Die Verfilmung von „Tribute von Panem“ ist in meinen Augen schon reichlich überschätzt, denn zumindest die Filme sind eigentlich nicht sehr innovativ. Die Idee ist nicht die neuste, Battle Royal ist älter. Die Umsetzung des Filmes ist eher lahm, ich konnte keinen richtigen Zugang dazu finden. Vielleicht weil ich die Bücher nicht kenne.
Wohingegen die Serie Marco Polo dann eher unterschätzt wird und nicht die verdiente Aufmerksamkeit bekommt, denn immerhin ist die Serie mindestens so spannend wie „Vikings“ und besser als einige andere historische Serien. *Außerdem finde ich gut, dass es mit den Mongolen mal etwas anderes verfilmt wurde. Mir kommt es so vor als ob die Antike oder allgemein eher europäische oder amerikanische Geschichte als Thema gewählt wird. *
Als ich letztens mal wieder meine Artbooks zur Hand nahm** konnte ich gar nicht aufhören darin zu blättern. ** Leider lagern sie aufgrund des Platzmangels bei meinen Eltern. Als Inspiration und Lehrmaterial fehlen sie mir.
Wenn die Laune mal im Keller ist und ich sonst zu nichts Lust habe, dann geht Filme ansehen eigentlich immer, denn für jede Laune gibt es Filme die passen. Man kann es sich gemütlich machen und den Kopf abstellen, sich ablenken oder sich hineinziehen lassen. Wie man möchte.
Zuletzt habe ich eine Krabbelgruppe besucht und das war seltsam , weil ich irgendwie keinen Zugang zu den anderen Eltern finde. Anschluss zu finden ist irgendwie schwierig für mich. Ich fühle mich oft wie ein Einhorn.
