Flowers Blooming in Our Apple Orchard

Hi steemians and buddies !!!!! I have written this blog on April 14, 2019 to show you all the look of our apple orchard that has flowers blooming every where in it these days. During the first week of April when the spring season is at its peak and when the sun gradually ascends towards warmth, apple orchards in North India, especially Himachal, start to bear flowers. These flowers are milk-white in colour and enhance the beauty of all the orchards just like ours here. Thanks to my younger brother who has mailed me some wonderful pics of the orchard just now and these pics will give you an insight into how fabulous and heavenly the orchard looks now with white flowers shining in their full glory in the trees.

In one of my previous blogs I had told you all about my village that is located in North India. It is not rather a village but a lonely place surrounded by tall Deodar (Himalayan Cedar) trees. This place is at a distance of about 30 k.m. from Shimla that is better known as the 'Queen of Hills' in India. If you happen to come to India someday in future and if, per chance, you visit Shimla, you won't be far from my village. This place offers a breath-taking and jaw-dropping view and it is not less than heaven when it comes to scenic beauty.

As steemit and dtube have fast emerged as internationally famous platforms for vlogging and blogging, I decided to make use of steemit to show people from all across the globe as to how my village in general and my orchard in particular looks at this time of the year. Those who are fascinated by nature in its purest form will surely be captivated by the engaging view and scenic beauty of this spot.

The orchard is covered with nets as apples need to be guarded against hail-storm that may have an adverse effect on the quality of the apples. Nets are tied over the apple trees in the first week of March and they are untied in October long after the season of apple-picking is over.

The temperature here is quite moderate during summer season when there is scorching heat every where. It is without any doubt a great idea to stay here for a couple of weeks if you are seeking a respite from the excruciating heat of the sun. Early in the morning, the chirruping of birds will wake you up and the rays of the rising sun will fall upon your eyes while you are still lying in bed. However hard you may try to lie down in bed for some more time, the wondrous nature in its different forms will surely drag you out of the bed.

Just take a look at all the pics and the beauty in and around the spot will surely transport you to bliss and happiness. This part of the world is still in its elemental and purest form. The bane of modernization has not polluted it so far and it's not desecrated by the onslaught of pollution and industrialization. It is still an unexplored region and second to none when it comes to scenic beauty and panoramic view.
