Stop Eating Meat Prevents One-Third Of Premature Deaths
Harvard University scientists have announced the possibility of preventing one-third of premature deaths occurring in the world if people abandon the meat they eat.
Harvard scientists have confirmed that in the United States alone, plant nutrition can prevent one million premature deaths.
Most people do not evaluate the usefulness of plant diets, although scientists have previously shown that plant nutrition greatly reduces the risk of chronic diseases because they do not contain saturated fats and cholesterol, substances that cause cardiovascular disease.
The plant diet contains high levels of protective agents including vitamins C, E, fiber, folic acid, potassium, magnesium and other useful chemical compounds.
Therefore, the level of harmful cholesterol in the blood of vegetarians is very low, and characterized by blood pressure and physical mass index. All these factors directly affect longevity and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
