Perfect place in a Marriot Hotel, Hangzhou
As much as I love the ritual of cooking, which makes me happy and also makes the house very cozy with its smell all over the place it‘s nice to go out and eat in a restaurant as well. It’s quite nice to be able to dress up, get out of the house and have an occasional date with your spouse😊
Today we decided to go to a hotel and find a restaurant there. Restaurants in international hotels are usually all good.Our choice fell on Marriot Hotel which is the closest one to our place plus we haven’t been there yet, so it’s always nice to go and explore new places. The restaurant‘s name “Asia Bistro” locates on the first floor of the hotel, they have buffet and you can also order a-la carte.What I love the most about nice places like that is the amosphere and the service!These two points come first and only then comes food and drinks and other stuff. I must say “Asia Bistro” fit not only the two points but also the rest of them perfectly!
Staff was very friendly, polite and helpful!Atmosphere and decor of the place is just beautiful, food was delicious! We went there quite early around 4 pm so it was very quiet and peaceful, only us two in this small pretty world 😊😊😊
This is definitely a place to recommend to other people and return to, once you have a chance;)
I am 100% with you. I am an obsessive chef, I love creating food. Especially experimenting with new ingredients, but once in a while I am so grateful for the hands of some one else that graced my food. Amazing how you ended up in China. It is part of my bucket list. I just do not know how I would feel about the language barrier. My first language is spanish but I grew up in Boston since age 10. I just turned 41.
You know, China is like another world, everything is so different here.I think language barrier might be a little problem as people don’t really speak English here in international hotels maybe 50 percent of the staff will be able to, but I’m sure you will be more busy with all the sights and beautiful places;)There are lots of tourists coming to China every day, if they feel okay about it then you will as well😊
I really have to outgrow ny comfort zone of here in Florida. I think Tenerife is really the first place I should go in the Canary Islands. That is where all of my descendants and roots come from along with a bit from Morocco wich should be next.
Whaaat is this the one near Wulin Square? I have been there the past two nights because my family from Canada is visiting and staying at that hotel!
If you're looking for another hotel date night - The Cafe Royal at Wyndham Hotel is having an "Asian Food & Dance Festival" from today until the 22nd. It looks pretty damn enticing (though maybe a little pricey).

Yeah they love it! They're really enjoying their adventure in China so far. If you and Dan have any recommendations on great restaurants in Hangzhou, send em my way! Same goes exciting things to do. :D
That’s nice 🙂 I would recommend Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant in Hubin Yintai, where the chef cooks in front of you I’m sure you guys have the same thing in Canada;Mercado Piccolo in Hangzhou Dasha - Italian restaurant, I love decor, service and food is good; Hubin 28 Chinese restaurant in Hyatt Hotel, it’s considered to be the best one in Hangzhou and Asia haha Very nice decor, good service and authentic food.(a bit pricey); You can also take them to Eudora for a change maybe, live music, or just on the third floor with the view and it’s right next to the west lake; Bernini next to it is quite nice as well😊Kerry Center - Blue Frog, I think they will love the area and the place as well!

Hotel restaurants often have great food and service. Sometimes it can be a bit pricey. They often charge more for the convenience of guests not having to leave the hotel.
I would of liked to have seen or at least known what you guys ordered! This post is making me hungry...

Hahaha we were so hungry we ate the food in a split of a second, I didn’t manage take any pics as well 😂Bur Daniel ordered pizza and I ordered some Vietnamese noodles with beef slices.Pizza was exceptional I must say😋😋😋😋For dessert we ordered some tiramisu, it was good nothing special actually)))
