Three weeks after
21 days have passed since our full moon ritual. I am loving this whole experience and how kind people around us have been.
I am just very surprised at how people in the street look at me, especially little girls who may not yet understand that their roles as women are not defined for how long their hair is. On the other side, some men seem to be intimidated and even look a bit uncomfortable about me having short hair.
I am focusing on the positive side of the experience, BUT I also want to keep it real, and doing so, I must be honest with my processes and perceptions since I am documenting and sharing it with this community weekly.
I believe it is crucial to tell that at this moment a lot about gender equality, feminism and other related topics are going on here in Chile where we are currently living. So, I also believe a lot of people may think that is kind of a feminist act.
Anyway! I am so excited for the next full moon! Just 7 days to go!
Cheers,
Coco
can't still believe what you've done. Maybe your crazy...maybe you have the clue. Anyways...somehow you don't mind what other people are thinking 'bout you. I like it.
Thanks Patrick!
