RE: Announcing SteemLogs.Info project on Utopian.io! Help us mine the blockchain for your great content!
Dear @steemlogs
I was just wondering what "mining" content means and thank you for your great explanation.
there was no 'Hide Resteem' button on the steemit interface, so finding your old blogs was a marathon of scrolling.
Very true. The problem with "hide resteem" is that I need to click on it every time I want to visit some profile.
I could never understand why people like to resteem so much. It's not like anyone really ever click on those resteemed posts. If someone does end up on your profile then most likely such a person is interested with your content and your content only.
Based on my experience resteeming doesnt really help much.
Ideally we would like to work with a python developer who is open and easy going, able to explain what is being done to someone who is just starting to read the beempy documentation.
Did you find anyone yet? It may be quite difficult task. I'm assuming that you don't have any budget to pay for this person work? Just curious.
How did you build steemlogs.info so far? Also in phyton?
Your post has been recommended by @ecoinstant. Thx buddy. Gooc luck to you and @jackmiller

Thanks for stopping by Piotr! A very comprehensive comment, which I will take in parts.
Resteem - I think it does serve a purpose, but is a tricky business. I have found things I wouldn't have because people I follow resteemed. I also 'skip over' a lot of resteems.
Without revealing too much of our specific plans, I mean 'mining' in the sense of 'data mining' and not 'blockchain mining'. Finding, searching, using and visualizing your and other's data on the steem blockchain (without scrolling for hours).
The project is built in python, I am learning and I have had help from other developers, principally @kit.andres to start and now looking for another one. I don't think it is so hard, I'll keep working myself but I am very slow, and I have every confidence we will find just the right person to help.
Don't assume too much, and we also have the power of utopian behind us :)
Thank you again for your valuable comment!
Thank you for your brilliant comment @ecoinstant
Have a great upcoming week buddy
