Quarantine Day 2 & 3: does this make sense?

Whilst there is police tape to stop people from entering the beach and fines issued to people walking on the street, people que up in numbers outside mercadona supermarket to piledge the whole shop. How does queing up in large numbers and rushing around a supermarket with everyone else stop the spread of a deadly virus?

I felt lucky because the open air market was open and there was nobody there! Probably too afraid to buy veg open to the elements or like me thought that it probably wouldnt be running. So i had the whole stall to myself and walked away happy.
Am i talking a risk walking around the village, no plastic gloves or mask? Old grannies looking at me worried like i be a carrier.
Yesterday i got the call from my new job that i hadnt even started yet, sorry but we will have to prospone your start date until further notice. No surprise really. So the hustle online continues my quarantine days will be to keep working on my shit asual. Just i cant seem to focus to well. Anyone feel similar?
