With the ongoing water crises;
of shortages, devastating pollution, and the potentials of
pipelines upon pipelines
It's easy to feel disempowered, to not know what to do, to feel helpless, overwhelmed
I say, fuck that
If you want to be on the front lines of change, you can do that Right Now
If you want to be radical and a paradigm shifter, you can be that Right Now
It comes down to remembrance.

A reasonably healthy human body is made of over 60% water,
disease is synonymous with dehydration,
the body and mind cannot function properly without h2o.
The ways in which we perpetuate dehydration in our beings are countless;
habitual patterns of behaviours and thoughts, delusion
excessive
smoking, alcohol, caffeine, junk food, overeating, late nights;
numbing to our reality and emotions.
Whatever, I can go on but this isn't a berating of our tried and true coping mechanisms.

The collective human body is a mirroring of the Earth and her body.
She too is mostly comprised of water,
and she too begins to die when the waters are not in a Good Way.
As the rivers, lakes, streams, and oceans of her being flow, or do not
as do the waters in our being
and
oh God
the state of the Earth's waterways parallel how poorly humanity has taken care of the waters that reside within,
how forgotten.

Dammed emotions resulting in dammed rivers,
polluted thoughts resulting in polluted streams,
oceans dying as our dreams die ...

But
To get to my point,
the empowerment part
the power of Now

Water is a liquid crystal
and the structure of water changes when attention/intention is placed upon it
a most excellent communicator,
we can speak to it, put our thoughts to it, pray with it, and it will listen
spreading whatever message it can
across the crystal grid of consciousness.

So imagine
a humanity
that speaks to the water they drink, the water they bathe in, the water they eat,
the waters that reside within,
and feels real gratitude
real prayers
real ahh remembrance.

Imagine a humanity that reveres a water droplet
the humidity of stormy weather
a humanity that chooses to really feel
and does away with the
poisons that dilute us to experience.

It begins here, it begins now.
~start somewhere
drink a glass of water, really see it, taste it
really find gratitude for the life it offers you
'thank you, thank you, I love you'
feel the water go through and become one with you
so sensitive, so sensitive

Do this each time you lift a glass to your lips
whatever the content,
and witness...
each bite of food, rain drop, bath, ocean dip
can be a moment of deep gratitude
of deep healing
and that ripples
and touches beyond comprehension
and won't you know that it will reach
resistance camps, and those in the fight for
our lives
and that they too can come into remembrance.

Express your pent-up emotions, for somewhere in the world,
a river is being restored by the tearing down
of its dam.
Clear your mind of toxic beliefs and thoughts,
and somewhere in the world,
a stream begins to run purer, freer.
Live out your dreams,
and somewhere in the world,
life is born with clarity and purpose.

And so,
one does not have to go anywhere
to be in ceremony
one does not have to drive somewhere to join hands and pray or shout
pay $20, sliding scale
because the ceremony always, always resides within.

Remember, forget, remember, repeat repeat.

In remembrance,
the waters are blessed by you.

Now go on and get radical -- go and love yourself!
