Oh lordy, I just get immediately exhausted when trying to deal with that type of person. I think I've mostly just cleansed them from my life at this point because of that. They don't want to hear anything other than that they are right about everything and it just becomes toxic.

They are definitely best avoided, and failing that, best ignored. It can be easier said than done, though...
